Have been working on these Bells for many years. Early names in the 1700s
were William, John, Alexander.

In some 1760 records there are 6 brothers mentioned: John, William, James,
George, Thomas and Charles Bell. Each of these brothers named sons for there
brothers so there are several John Bells born within six years of each other.

As Stafford records were destroyed by the Yankees, I hope someone has an old
Bell Bible with records that tie to Stafford County.

My line is;
John b unknown, d unknown;
William b 1771 in Stafford, d 1855 in Montgomery, AL;
Alexander b 1816 in Stafford, d 1885 in Montgomery, AL;
Thacher b 1856 in Montgomery, AL, d 1924 in Greenville, SC;
John,Sr b 1897 in Atlanta, GA, d 1962 in Atlanta, GA

Hope someone has some data on these Bells.
