Do you know if this BELL linage is related to the BELL's of Oswego, Oswego Co., New York. John D. BELL whom married Jane ROCKLIFF, children: John, Jane, Emma, George Washington, Alfred Thomas, William Henry, Edward James Sr.
John whom married Elizabeth BISHOP, children John Jr., Alfred.
Jane whom married Francis STOWELL, children Mary Ann, Mary Jane. also, married William E AYERS, child born of this marriage Louisa.
George Washington whom married Irene HORTON (George died at that 1st Battle of Manassas, attempting to recover the Union Flag).
Alfred Thomas, whom married Eliza BRADLEY, children Edward George, Ada Minerva, Alfred John, George Alexander, Charles, Lincoln Centennial.
Edward James, Sr. whom married Henryett Eliza BARLOW, children Emma Henryette, Flora B, Edward James Jr., Sena R, Netti May, George Phillip, William Parker, Katherine Parker, Robert Hiram, Janie.
 
Reason I ask....
My mother's brother Robert settled somewhere in Virginia, South or North Carolina, but I don't know much more than that. He married two women I believe both where named Jane, and had one adopted son. Would love to link family info.

Barbara Bell Mortimore age 66, a loving mother, "Momma B", sister and friend, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Born in Loris, SC, she was a daughter of the late Robert Roscoe and Ethel Lou Mae Strickland Bell. Ms. Mortimore retired after 17 years from Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, David Edgar Bell and Samuel L. Bell.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Mortimore of Myrtle Beach; a daughter, Stephanie Atkinson and her husband Scott of Myrtle Beach; a granddaughter, Felicity Elyse Atkinson; 5 brothers, Jack Bell (Ruth), of Loris, SC, J. Carlton Bell (Jeanette) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert L. Bell (Jane) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Freddie Bell (Brenda) of Horsheads, NY and Perry Spencer Bell (Lou) of Lexington, SC; 3 sisters, E Marie Stephens (Bobby) of Murrells Inlet, Nancy Cribb of Tabor City, NC and Betty B. Lunsford of Camden, SC and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Glenns Bay Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
