Does anybody have information on the Bender family who founded
Benderstettle in northern Dauphin Co, PA? This town is now known as
Elizabethville (named for the daughter Elizabeth) of the first settler. I
know a little that these Benders came from Lancaster Co in sometime in the
1700's. Some of them stayed in Dauphin Co, others headed west.
Family lore says my maternal grandmother was related to this line of
Benders.
