Hi All,

I'm a bit stuck and wondered if anyone can point me in the right
direction...

My personal brick-wall is John BENJAFIELD b.abt.1795 in Wincanton.

So, I sent for a birth certificate for my gr.gr.grandfather : James
William BENJAFIELD (b.10 July 1838).
John's wife is listed on that as Mary BENJAFIELD formerly PARRIOR or
PAVIOR (or something similar).

The handwriting on the certificate is a really nice "copperplate" type
script which I can't quite deypher.
Do any of you have any records of either of those two surnames (or
anything similar)?
