Nice to hear from you. My email is . There is a list you should take a look at.... a bunch of us trade info there. I know you will find your parents listed as Mary, who keeps the list is a very dedicated genealogist, as are many others on the list. In fact Dave Benjafield of Worksop (not so far from you!) has a Benjafield website. Do check the list.

John and I and our family lived in Totley for 2 years 1975-6 and 1982-3 while he was on sabbatical years. We always shopped in Chesterfield at one of the then new shopping stores, as it was closer than going into Sheffield. Small world, eh?

Please check the Rootsweb lists and you will be amazed at what you find.

Spotted your query on the Somerset & Dorset site.
Thought it may interest you to know some more Benjafields?! ( I have never
been to the west country!)
My Father, James Thomas was born in west London on 21.01.38. Sadley he died
on 05.08.92. His parents were frederick and Anne. Both of whom , I believe,
were born in West London.
He had two brothers, Frederick and william and a sister Pamela. William (
Bill) passed away a few years ago.
My Mother Aline (nee Robbins) and my Father married in 1962. I have a Sister
Susan b:1962, a brother Roystone (Roy) b:1964. I was born in 1968. All in
London.
I have since moved to Chesterfield Derbyshire and married in 2004, my
surname officially is Hayden now, but I still use Benjafiled quite often, as
it is so fab!!
