Okay everyone. I'm sending my BENNETT info and am wondering if there is
anyone connected to this line out there....I SURE HOPE SO !!!
Samuel BENNETT & Ann FROST m 1814 in Bakewll, Derby, England.
They had 6 children I know of:
Samuel (mine)b 1811, William b 1815, Joseph b 1816, Mary V b 1816, John b
1818, ISaac b 1821......
Samuel m Elizabeth HALLAM in 1827. They had 7 children:
Mary (questionable as b 1821),,,, John b 1828, Isaac b c1830 (mine), Thomas
b 1833, David b 1834-37, Emma b 1835, Henry b 1841......
Isaac m Elisa (unknown) and they had 10 children:
George b c1856 (mine), Thomas b c1861, Anne G. b 1863, John A. b 1863,
William b 1863 (tripletts?), Annie E. b 1868; Emily b 1870; Florence b 1873;
Isaac b 1875; Eliza b 1880, most born in Stoney Middleton, Derby, England.
George m Precilla HUBBARD in 1879 Manchester. Have certificate.
They had 6 children: John William b 1880 (my grandfather); Harry/Harvey b
1888; Charlotte L. b 1890; Florence b 1893; Edward b 1897; Alice b 1900.
Most were born either in Manchester or Oldham.
My John William m Hannah COLLINGE in 1900. They had 10 children also:
Alfred, Florence, Gladys, Edward, Mildred (mine), Gordon, and 4 I've been
told about that died as infants, and can find no record of:
Dorothy/Freddie/Mable/Willie/.... Gladys, Edward, Mildred & Gordon were born in Chatham Ontario,
Canada.
Would appreciate any help - links to other BENNETT sites - records I may
not be aware of that are searchable on line (OLDHAM, STONEY MIDDLETON....etc.)
-and especially a connection to someone like you !!!!
