My Grandfather was John Bennett...genealogy goes back to 1756 Three Bennett brothers left Robeson County,North Carolina and went to Ga. Bladen County, North Carolina was formed in 1734,Robeson County, North Carolina was formed from Bladen in 1787.These brothers lived in the part of Bladen county that is now Robeson county. they left Robeson county in 1780's and moved to what was then Effingham county, Georgia, which was part of the creation of Bulloch countyin 1796. From there they seperated and moved to differant county areas .Research on Richard Bennett of 1756. I have much more research if anyone is intrested....
