Hello to all our members--

This is just a reminder of our annual BIFHS-USA Christmas party which will be
held at the Los Angeles Family History Center on Friday, 1 Dec. at 6 p.m.
If you want to come early for some research, that is fine. The refrigerator
in the office will be available if you need to keep something cold. We do
ask that all members "retreat" to the classroom while the library is being
closed at 5 p.m.. We hope many of you will be able to attend. To avoid
having a "potluck dessert," it is suggested that people bring food according
to the following alphabetical grouping:

A through G - bring a side dish
H through N - bring a salad
O through Z - bring a dessert

Turkey, ham, beverage, and paper good will be provided.

Many of you have traditionally brought a specialty dish, and of course you
are welcome to do so.

Remember, spouses and other family members are invited to attend!

We are sorry that those outside of the area will find it difficult to
participate in this enjoyable evening.

A sad announcement - Dora Holt, the long-time office manager of the LAFHC
passed away recently and there will be a memorial service for her at 10 a.m.
on 1 Dec. at the stake center just north of the LAFHC.
All are welcome to attend.
