Ok you two, let me add to this Uriah mystery. I have also been searching for a child of your Uriah Biggs in the zone of 1850. Mine is Freeling H. Biggs. I have found him back to 1870 but not before. Supposedly his father is Uriah and Lane Bongs per Indiana marriage record. His is listed as being born abt 1844 in Indiana with parents born in Ohio. He married Once to Samantha Sims in 1866 in Fountain Cty. Indiana, then to Anna Bowman in 1896 in Warren Cty. Indiana. In 1870 he was indexed as Phelan Biggs. I have found him in 1870, 1880, 1900 and 1910. but not after that and no death record found. He had 3 children with Samantha, George, Bert and Lewis. As far as the Uriah who married Delilah Baythe I found them in Iowa in 1850 and Missouri in 1860, Kansas in 1870, and they had a flock of kids with them...no orphans it seems, So I ruled that Uriah out. Has anybody checked locally in Fountain or Warren County's? It's on my list of someday where to go.
