Edward E. Belyeu, 96, of Modesto died Sunday at his home.
Mr. Belyeu was a native of Pontatoc, Miss. He lived in Modesto 55 years. He was a partner in Johnston & Lowell Floor Covering and retired from the floor covering business at age 82. He was a member of Bethel Church.
He is survived by his wife, Iva Belyeu of Modesto; children,Donald Belyeu, Dee Merenda and Beverly Ashcraft, all of Modesto; and brothers, Lamar Belyeu of Lancaster and Darrell Belyeu and Leon Belyeu, both of Oklahoma.
A funeral will be at 11 am. Wednesday at Lakewood Funeral Chapel, Hughson. Bunal will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Lakewood Funeral Chapel. Lakewood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
