Subject: Larry & Charlotte Burd (or Byrd)

Again I'm trying to find information about my great great grandparents who
seemed to have disappeared without a trace. All I know is that their names
were Larry & Charlotte Burd, or maybe Byrd, and that my grnadmother, their
youngest, I think, was born Feb. 24, 1872. We think they lived in Vernon
County, Mo. (around Nevada), and though we first thought there were three
children, we later heard there were 11. Anyway, at some point, my
grandmother and the others were raised by a family whose last name was
Capps. My great Aunt was named Desta, and my father had two infant sisters
who died named Desta Jane and Inez. There are given names of Sylvester,
Neil, and Vernard. I have an old picture with the name J>W> Byrd on the
back, but I don't know who he was. I think it was taken at a studio in
Greencastle, Ind. My grandmother's name was Iva, and she married Charles
Luther Wilkerson. I would really appreciate any information anyone has to
