Hi all, looking for information about the following families from the
Moscow/Elmhurst area and Old Providence (Scranton):

Peter Dennis and Anna (Maria?) Rolls

Peter was born in 1823 in either PA or Ireland and married Anna (Maria?)
Rolls who was born in PA. They resided in Roaring Brook Township and had
the following children:

Asher Dennis married Lydia Jane Sherwood. Lydia Jane was born in 1849.
Asher was a farmer in the Elmhurst/Moscow/Roaring Brook area. Their children:

The Sherwood Family

Samuel Sherwood OCT20, 1785 married Nancy. They lived in Old Providence
(Scranton). He died APR27, 1868. Their children:

Joseph Sherwood1813 Owner and operator of a hotel at Dunnings (Elmhurst)
his wife Ruth (Carey or Casey) was born 1813.

Samantha SherwoodFEB26, 1839 - MAR15, 1918 Wife of Matthias barclay. She
operated a tavern at hunter's Range
between Elmhurst and Nay Aug.

remarried Benjamin H. Hayden
