Hi, I've been searching for gg grandfather, Nathaniel H. Bird who went by N
H or Nat. I have not been able to find him on Georgia census. Hunting
another branch of family I found Naption H. Bird on 1850 Cherokee Co AL
census. He is 11 yrs old. Mine was supposed to be born 3-4-1841. A close
name and time. So does anyone out there have info on this Naption? Could
he be my Nat. who came to TX early 1873.

We have been wondering if possible he had changed name. What we do know is
he married Lucy Pollard and she was from Merriweather Co GA. They lived
near Moundville GA. This Naption was son of Jacob Bird and mother was
Celia. Siblings were Phebe, Ruth, William Catherine, Sarah, and Mary. My
Nat named a son William. Yes I am reaching for straws, but if anyone has
info I sure would appreciate it. Thanks Sherry Douglas
