I recently saw a query re George Bird and can't find it now. This is a
possiblity. Please e-mail me if this person thinks there maybe a connection.

Simeon)
Geo W SEN 23 farm laborer NY (I believe this is Simeons
brother
(sr)? or
possibly a cousin)
Julia (Ann ?) 16 PA ( Simeons sister)

Both Simeon and George list their birthplaces as NY as did Simeon in later
census records. However his own family Bible give his birth as PA . Simeon
is found in 1850 census for Ind, Noble county (Mary Ida was born in Noble CO
IND) with Randolph Bird and family. I believe this to be his father. Note
Simeons b listed as PA. George does not appear in this census with the
family. I believe this family to be descendants of William and Mary
Bird/Burd of Westmoreland co PA.
