I am interested in the 1824 birth date for LB Bird. I have a Sarah Ann
{Sally}Bird /Byrd b. 1826 TN she is my great great grandmother. IN
Shelbyville, Bedford CO TN is a marriage certificate dated 1840 stating she
married J. C. Coleman b. 1823 TN. Sallie Bird Coleman d. 1850 after the 1850
census. Also there is a history of alot of families from TN going to AR , to
get away from the heated talks about slaves. My great great grandparents had
4 children and the oldest son Henry John served in the Civil War but did not
come home, Joshua Riggs b. 1844 died before 1870 typhoid fever Eliza b, 1846
died from 'a spider bite' William b. 1848 married Sarah Ann {Sallie} Boone
b. 1855 Madison CO AR. Her aunt Jane Floyd Bearden b. 1818 married J. C.
Coleman before the end of the same year. With his, hers and their children
they had 15 children and many of the children died before becoming an adult.
I will keep up my search and letters until my cousins & I find her family.
In over 150 years we still don't know the family of Sarah Ann Byrd Coleman
or where she and her children were buried.
