Benjamin SEATON was born in 1768 in Stafford, Virginia. He died in Chuckey,
Horse Creek, Greene Co., Tennessee on Sep 8, 1859, when he was 91. He was
buried in 1859 on a farm near Cedar Grove, Greene Co., Tennessee. His wife was
buried there in 1858.

Benjamin was probably married more than once. At least one source indicates
that he served in the Revolutionary War.

In 1785 when Benjamin was 17, he married Mary Elizabeth BIRD, in Richmond,
Richmond Co., Virginia. She was born in 1772 in Richmond, Henrico Co.,
Virginia. She died in Chuckey, Horse Creek, Greene Co., Tennessee in 1858, when she
was 86.

Mary Bird’s parents: Phillip (Philemon) BIRD (BYRD). Born abt 1740, probably
in Richmond, Virginia.Phillip (Philemon) married Catherine CAMMACK, who was
