I could not agree with you more!
It is somewhat ironic that I am able to communicate and exchange
information freely with people scattered all over the globe via this
electronic interface, yet of the forty or so BISSET(T)s living in
Edinburgh, apart from my kinfolk and two others, I am and they are complete
strangers.

Connecting and communicating with the scattered and "extended" family may
just be a way of resolving, (not rebuilding) the tower of Babel.
