John and I figured out that at one point my marriage file got corrupted and
the last marriage got a number in the order of 16 million instead of ~3300.
This didn't cause any trouble in normal operation. I can add people and
marriages and print normally. The trouble comes when an array needs to be
build while exporting a gedcom or splitting the database.

John is checking a repair program for me so the marriages at the end of my
database with the high numbers can be deleted and the marriages be rebuilt
with numbers of the right magnitude.

John, did I say that right?

Are you doing the GEDCOM direct to a Floppy?

Do you have deleted some marriage in your datebase during your time
working with the database?
