When I want to print out a Group Family Index only after loading a certain
family the program does not pick up the family I have loaded but goes to a

It will print the last index that was created and sorted.

Do you have the option turned on to create an index?

Are you picking Print and not Preview? (Preview does NOT create an index)

If you are picking Print then when the report is done, it should ask if you
want to create the index. Answer yes. Then it will ask if you want 2 or 3
columns.

If you still have problems, go to the main BK screen and pick File,
Options, RTF/Other and on the line about SORT problems, put 9 at the end of
the line then pick File, Save and Close, then try again.

If you still have trouble, be sure all files in your data folder are NOT
set as "read only" file property. To check that out, you can delete the
file BKINDEX2.DTA and if you can not delete that file, it is "read only".
