From the "Edit" person screen, go to "Pictures", following the "Picture file
name" under "Print where" from the drop down box pick "Never"

Otto, I think your idea is brilliant. My partner too is very enthusiastic.

I had been thinking (no, daydreaming) along these lines for some time, but
did not have the expertise to see how it would be possible. For the source

box to bring up a copy of primary source material seems ideal to me.

After reading your comments and experimenting with scanning documents into
the picture file did someone say it was possible to stop them coming up on
the
edit page, which doesn't look so good?

Keep your ideas coming - I am learing from you, if slowly, and do thank you

all for sharing your ideas and not the least to John for putting the good
ones into fruition.
