You can enter this as a range as well. You then have in the date field:
BEF12 JUL 1814 - AFT31 DEC 1818
Only the Gedcom export will look a bit strange, being:
2 DATE BET BEF 12 JUL 1814 AND AFT 20 DEC 1818
but that is a Gedcom problem, not a BK problem (and you know what happens
to you, if you go on... ;-))
