Researching Joseph BLACKMAN (son of John BLACKMAN of
Dorchester, MA) and Elizabeth CHURCH
and their descendants in the early to mid 1700s, Little Compton RI.

Joseph BLACKMAN was born 27 June 1661 at Dorchester MA
and m. 1685 at Plymouth Co. MA to Elizabeth CHURCH, daughter
of Joseph CHURCH and Mary TUCKER. Several children were
born to them, including Abraham BLACKMAN b. 1705 Little Compton, RI
who married Elizabeth WHITAKER. He died 1788 in Hebron, CT.
