Rhonda, Sorry it took me so long to respond. I just saw your post. I recently found out that my grandmother, Emma Blackman, was the daughter of Right Blackman and Sarah "Lessy" Baker. I haven't been able to find Right's parents yet though. If you have any info, I would greatly appreciate it. I don't have anything on the Blackman's to share with you, unfortunately. Even though there were "millions" of blackmans in Johnston County, they are not easy to track down!.
