Hi cousin Lois:

My family tree software says we are 2nd cousins once removed. I am sorry about your scanner, but if you get it fixed remember me. I would love to have a copy of Mary Davis's picture. That would be great. I have an old photo of Horton Powell(Sally Blackman's husband) who was my great grandad if you want a copy of it. I am afraind I don't have much on Bartlitt Blackman's death date except that it was supposed to be between 1860 and 1880. I guess he was in the 1860 census but not the 1880, so someone figured he must have died during that period. I also have John as the father of Mary Davis Blackman, but I don't know where I got it from. I don't have her mothers name, but somehow I have that her mom was born in Georgia. I wish I knew her name.
I will talk to my Dad soon. He is going to be eighty this year but his mind and body are in great shape,so maybe he can remember something or call someone who is still living that might remember something. Email me soon.
