Hi.My name is Cindy Tom. I am related to the "Bald Prairie" Blackmon family. In 1880 the Robertson County census in Texas listed three Blackmon families. The heads of these families were: Solomon, Samuel and James. I am guessing they are brothers. I am related to Solomon's daughter Mittie. Mittie is my great great grandmother. The census says the three brothers were all born in Mississippi. I haven't had any luck locating which county. So...that is what I am working on. I hope there is someone who is also interested in this Blackmon line. Sincerely, Cindy Tom.
