Dasn,
I know that we have chatted before, but I don't remember the outcome. I have know there is an Irvin or Irwin Blackmon in the family Bible, but I can't locate the Bible. No one has seen it since the GreatAunt who had it passed away. He was the first person named in that Bible, and (according to family lore) ran a grist mill and whiskey still on the Chattahoochee River in Harris County. It had the name of Licked Skillet. Well, I found a sign that pointed to Licked Skillet, but I was too timid to drive down the two ruts in the ground that were the road down to the river, I guess. I don't know how this Irvin/Irwin is related to us. The Harris County is full of Blackmons, but even though I know that they must be related, I am not sure how. I'd love to chat with you.
