While searching court records I found the following (Rockingham County Court
file 18007 dated 25 Jan 1799):

James Noyes of Atkinson, NH sued Joseph Blanchard of Thorton, NH husbandman,
for a note dated Dec 1797 in Atkinson wherein James Noyes stated he had
provided board to you [sic] boy Eleazer Blanchard Wilkins for 12 wks at a
cost of 16 lbs; for sundry expenses 1 lb 50 pence; and for mending one shirt
50 pence.
