I took some time this week, and did some stats on the growth of
the USGW Census Project.

We started in February 1997, and there were 26 of us.. and I was
the first transcriber and now we have over 1400 transcribers... This
is how we have grown since then!

Total number of Counties assigned = 2525

1790 = 21
1800 = 30
1810 = 60
1820 = 92
1830 = 135
1840 = 183
1850 = 854
1860 = 301
1870 = 205
1880 = 167
1890 = 39 (Union Veterans and Widows)
1900 = 190
1910 = 108
1920 = 140
