Again, I'd like to express my hesitation to support any candidate without
getting input from both sides of the equation. We've heard from the Census
II (Ron's CP), and so I would also like to determine the wishes of Census I
(the ACP) and even the transcribers. I'd prefer to seat someone who could
represent ALL of the census project volunteers, with an eye toward repairing
the rift. Ron has made it mighty clear in his communications with this
board, filled with derision, vitriol, and inflexible demands, that he
wouldn't be interested in kind of give-and-take compromise that will be
necessary to fix this thing.
