Subject: Re: [BOARD-L] Motion 00-20
Date: Sun, 2 Jul 2000 11:01:52 EDT
I have some questions. Motion 00-19 which was just passed, said:
> "I move that the Election Committee be directed to follow election
> procedure as was followed in previous elections -- one State Coordinator
> and one Asst. State Coordinator per state/special project and any County
> Coordinator/Assistant County Coordinator/Town Coordinator/Special Project
> File Manager be allowed to vote."
and Motion 00-20 as proposed by Maggie says:
> "I move that State Level Special Projects with CC's meeting
> the cutoff date be allowed a vote in the Fiscal Year 2000 election."
Can someone elaborate on why Motion 20 is needed, since Motion 19 requires
following procedures of past elections? Is this motion referring to a
different kind of State Level Project than has been allowed to vote in the
past?
Maggie, what are you meaning by State Level Projects?
I would appreciate some clarification before this is called for a vote.
Thanks!
