Explain please why allowing a Board member to serve as a Board Secretary
will "politicize" the position any more than allowing the NC to choose any
other person they wish. There have been some _very_ political choices made
for BS in the past, none of whom were Board members. There are certainly
members of the Board who might be considered less controversial than some
choices for Board Secretary would be.
