Subject: [BOARD-L] EC Question
Date: Wed, 5 Jun 2002 10:32:27 -0500
I'm confused:
If it is beyond the EC guidelines to conduct polls, are we to assume that
they may do so if asked by the Advisory Board?
Weren't the two replacement AB members chosen AFTER polls were conducted by
the EC?
If the question about registration is placed on the ballot and passes, what
will be the implementation procedure? The bylaws state who is eligible to
vote. Woudn't it take a bylaws amendment to make the change?
If so, then the question of registration becomes an opinion poll, which the
EC guidelines doesn't allow.
