Hi all,

I was just informed via the CA State Gen Alliance list that Indiana is
mounting an effort to restrict access to vital records. Here is the link
to information on the Bill: http://www.indgensoc.org/HB1540.html

Are the Reps for that Region aware of this??? I wrote to Betty Warren,
listed as President of the Indiana GenSoc to ask what folks who are not
in Indiana can do to support the Resolution that Society has written and
submitted.

It seems to me that it might be a good idea for this AB to also draft a
letter and submit it. Other ideas???

The Chair acknowledges that neither the Standing Procedures Committee
nor
the Grievance Procedures Committee is prepared to present a report at

time.

Next reports are due 1 March 2003. If substantive progress cannot be
shown
at that time, the committee(s) will be dissolved in favor of some more
effective method of accomplishing their tasks.
