will just spit it out. The Bylaws state that every SC should have a
current mailing list of their CC's. The EC Guidelines require that the SC
submit lists quarterly. The SC of GA did none of that.. and we are all
sitting here haggling over a cut off. Well.. let me be perfectly blunt. A
list last fall will be inclusive of all the the CC's in place last fall.
That is the list that was frozen. There is no 30 days eligibility
conversation to be had. There is no as of date because in this case the
list frozen is last fall. Period end of story. Did the SC fail yes..
sadly he did. Are we failing yes, sadly we are. We are failing to
recognize a flawed Motion -023.

Have you ever had a hard drive crash? Have you ever lost items because of
that? Have you ever had email crash and lost things because of that?

If you've lost things do you remember every single email you lost or the
content of them?

Having a current mailing list - and a current voting list are two seperate
issues. The mailing list doesn't list the county or counties folks host
for. The mailing list and the list on their websites are often different.
Reconciling them takes time.

Having had a hard drive crash and an email crash last fall, and wasting 2
months this year with BS caused by several petitioners closely associated
with the Archives and/or a disgruntled released ASC - one does get
side-tracked.

Of course if you use last fall as your cutoff date - you get rid of at
least 1/2 of the petitioners!
