There are a several reasons for further discussion on motion 03-11. The
motion reads:

"It has been moved by Bill and seconded by Phyllis that the NC subscribe
all the SCs and ASCs of the USGenWeb Project and the AB members, to a
private email
list, for the purpose of discussing and deciding the future of the Project.

The one item on the agenda to be—whether to continue in the present form, a
revised form, or disband the National Organization.

Further, that the discussion and decisions be limited to two weeks, at
which time that decision be put to a vote of the eligible voters of the
Project.

Further, that the EC be instructed to prepare for the said referendum."

1) It has come to my attention that it would be inappropriate for the NC to
subscribe the SCs and ASCs to a list without their permission.

2) I would like you to consider and discuss the alternative of carrying on
this discussion on an open list to which all members of the project could
voluntarily subscribe.

3) I would like you to consider and discuss the effectiveness of having the
discussion limited to two weeks.
