I did not withdraw my second and propose an amendment. I proposed an
amendment which reflected the fact that some SCs objected to being subbed to
another list and the fact that some felt that 2 weeks was not long enough.
When it failed, I withdrew my second. I'm not sure but what I made two
attempts to do so. If not, I simply gave up after the first one.
And, if you're going to find fault with the amount of time that has passed,
who is supposed to be keeping us on track? It certainly isn't me. Besides
which, who's going to want to discuss a crummy old motion about an inanimate
object when there are people to rip to shreds?
