Hello

Again Phyllis and I are in agreement. A national declaration of MNIGS just keeps a person from running for national office and if in office makes performing that job a challenge.

What I am concerned about is the State Level MNIGS... It seems that in almost every case that when a CC is declared MNIGS, they lose their county. No mediation, no discussion (because they lose the right to post to State List), and, unless the CC takes it to the AB, no recourse.

Of course, this is my opinion. I would like to see better protection for the CC (mediation) and the wishy-washy term national MNIGS, strenghtened.

Respectfully

That designation is much ado about nothing. It apparently came as being the
opposite of being in good standing. However, the ONLY thing Member Not In
Good Standing does is give whoever has a little higher position the right to
deny certain "privileges"....mainly the ability to freely post to a list, or
have access to a private list; or run for a State office if it has been
assessed on the State level; or run for National Office if it has been
assessed on that level. But, a person MNIGS on the State level can still
run for national office and vice versa.

The person is still welcome to continue "doing" the maintenance of and
adding to his/her site. Sort of like punishing a child for stealing a candy
bar by making him/her stand in the corner while eating it.
