MO on the Logo hasn't changed... and I did express my opinions... but I would be happy to restate...

1. I believe that one logo for the whole project is appropriate.
2. I like the radiating (exploding) web pre 2000 that is currently on my websites... even the Alaska one.
3. I am not opposed to voting on new designs as long as we include the older ones.
4. I would like the vote to be taken as part of the traditional summer election of officers.
so all members of the USGenWeb Project can give their opinions...
5. I am willing to abid by the decision of the voters.

I would like a quick discussion and a motion so there would be time to develop new logos...

I would second any motion that said 1 logo, all members, old and new designs... and did not require any lengthy discussion period.

As so many members of the AB voted yes on the previous motion, indicating
they felt it was important that the AB determine "exactly how the winning
logo will be chosen and whether or not it will become the only logo," you
will now have the opportunity to express exactly how you feel about this issue.

In March, the number of members who bothered to express an opinion (prior
to voting on the issue) was minimal. No member was willing to second a
motion presented on the issue, and no member was willing to present an
alternative motion on the issue. In April, perhaps it will be different. If
you can't deal with this issue, you'll never be able to deal with the next
issue, which is even more complicated.

It might be easier if the question were separated into its various parts.
So, lets deal with one question at a time. First, separately from any other
consideration, should The USGenWeb Project have ONE logo (with appropriate
variations) that should be displayed on every site associated with the project?

Your response is invited. If you do not respond, it is assumed that you
agree there should be one logo for The USGenWeb Project that is required to
be displayed on all associated pages.
