Hi, Phyllis -
Generally speaking, yes, the EC can include questions on a national ballot
provided the allowed response is a simple yes/no per question. The EC can
also allow for a vote on various logos.
The EC would need instruction from the AB as to what constitutes the
"winning" vote on both the questions and on the various logos. Majority?
Two-Thirds Majority? Most votes cast? On how many logos would each member
be allowed to cast a vote?
Unless instructed otherwise, the assumption would be that all members will
be granted a password to vote on this issue.
The EC recommends ending the submission period NLT 1 June in order to allow
ample time to develop a page for logo presentation that will coincide with
positioning/wording/placement on the ballot.
The EC might have further questions or suggestions depending upon the final
request or wording.
