Hi Phyllis
I know I said no discussion but... this was brought to my attention
What if the majority vote NOT to use just one logo but would prefer to have a group to select from... is there wording you could use to allow for multiple logos...
ie... the radiating web, the millenium eagle, and perhaps a new one????
Thank you

Mr. NC and AB Colleagues:
In response to the answer from EC Chair, Ellen Pack; I would like to propose
this amended version of Motion 04-09:
I move that the logo contest be allowed to continue with the following
provisos:
1. Designs will be accepted until June 1, 2004. As soon as possible, the
general membership will be notified where they may view the designs. This
view will include the current logos.
2. The general membership will vote during the general election of 2004 on
whether or not to have just one logo. A simple majority vote will decide
the issue.
3. The general membership will vote to select one logo in the event the
majority opinion is that there should be only one. One vote per member,
with highest number of votes received deciding the issue.
(This is not part of the motion, but an explanation......I believe that the
entire general membership should be allowed to vote on this issue, not just
those registered to vote. I realize this will put an extra burden on the EC
and with that I sympathize. But, this is an issue that will effect
everybody who is required to use the USGW P logo(s).
