Shari,

I have to say, I kind of resent that my silence was construed as an attempt
to "withhold your vote even though you are really 'here' in hopes that the
motion will fail for lack of a quorum." I have been dealing with a kidney
stone all week and did not realize that the time period had ended.

I am uncertain whether extending the voting period is the correct thing to
do or not as that may change the outcome of the motion, but just in case . . .

I have wrestled with this motion for about as long as the kidney
stone. <G> I have not seen much interest in the members who have
replied. I have a problem with this motion and feel that it is not
necessary. I have asked a couple of questions trying to clarify why AB
members thought this motion was necessary and all I have gotten from the
replies was that it was needed to define "prominent." I thought Webster
did a really good job of defining prominent.

The bylaws cover requirement of a logo and that it be prominent. I think a
logo can be at the top of the page and not be prominent and I think that a
logo can be at the bottom of the page and also still be prominent. There
are just too many factors involved in determining what makes something
prominent to define them all in one motion.

Since I believe that this motion is not necessary, I will have to vote "NO"
if it is determined that it is procedurally sound to extend the voting period.

Respectfully,
Betsy
