I am at this time formally challenging the Chair's ruling in regards to
the motion made by myself and seconded by Bettie Wood, and I am calling
for a vote by the AB in regards to that ruling.
I don't believe that parliamentary procedure was designed to turn the
Chair into an omnipotent dictator. It defies all logic and common sense
that the Chair may rule a motion and second out of order, only to
present her own "suggested" motion on the same topic. Permitting such
actions creates a situation where the elected representatives of the
project exist only to serve as a rubber stamp for whatever notion the NC
decides to pursue at the time.
