Even though I was away and could not vote in the time frame, I do wish to
record my response - I sent a message yesterday, but did not see it.

*
*I am at this time formally challenging the Chair's ruling in regards to
*the motion made by myself and seconded by Bettie Wood, and I am calling
*for a vote by the AB in regards to that ruling.
*
*I don't believe that parliamentary procedure was designed to turn the
*Chair into an omnipotent dictator. It defies all logic and
*common sense
*that the Chair may rule a motion and second out of order, only to
*present her own "suggested" motion on the same topic. Permitting such
*actions creates a situation where the elected representatives of the
*project exist only to serve as a rubber stamp for whatever
*notion the NC
*decides to pursue at the time.
