We're early in the month with a lot on the agenda. Holding a preferential
poll and/or a special election will take time and there is a significant
concern as to having decisions made without a Special Projects
Representative. We either appoint, go without, or do nothing as a Board
until the seat is filled.

This is a unique situation and I've not seen anyone who can find a specific
rule in PP, Sturgis, or the By-laws that cover it. The interests of the
project as a whole need to be our guide, and I can't think of a better way
to insure the interests of the project except to fill the new seat on an
interim basis pending the scheduling of a Special Project Representative
election.

Since there has been an objection to the general consent approval of Cyndie
Enfinger, and the indication of another individual interested in the
position, Charles Barnum, I believe that Bettie's correct and that a motion
is in order to put the matter to a vote. I've reviewed the various regional
lists and project lists and have not found any other individuals expressing
an interest in the position at this time.

Before a motion is presented , has anyone else been contacted by interested
parties who should be considered in a motion to appoint?
