Sundee,

Being the EC Rep. is a pleasant job. You would be subbed to the EC list and
serve as a liaison between the EC and the AB (you do not perform EC duties).
If there are questions, clarifications or concerns that need to be relayed,
you would assist with that as needed. The NC is also subbed to the EC list,
so they may perform that function as well. When the EC is ready to elect a
new Chair, you and the NC would conduct the election. If you have never
served on the EC, it is a great way to learn about what they do. I
certainly have a lot of respect for the amount of work this group does and
how well they meet their responsibilities. It does not impact the seat that
you hold on the AB.
