These are some comments I have gathered so far.

1) when you start talking $ in an all-volunteer organization, you're
going to start losing members.

2) "fact finding group" isn't fooling anyone. It's a committee, pure &
simple.

3) if you want to do something for the organization fine but don't ask
for the rest of us to support your time with our $$.

4) I think this will be a huge waste of time. What I'd really like to
see is this being put to the membership on the ballot in July.
