As National Coordinator, I have received the following request
for use of the USGenWeb Project logo.

If no objection is raised by July 14, 2008 at 7:00 pm EST, it is my
intention as National Coordinator to grant use of the USGenWeb
Project logo for this publication.

The Standard Rules state:
http://www.usgenweb.com/~usgw/volunteers/standard-rules.shtml

SECTION IV. PERMISSION TO USE A USGenWeb LOGO.
(Adopted 17 October 2006 (Motion 06-18)) In the event a request
for permission to use one of the USGenWeb Logos in a
publication is received, the National Coordinator shall notify
the Advisory Board of his/her intent to accept or reject the
request. Unless an objection is registered the National
Coordinator's decision will stand.

Hi:

I am the editor of a county newsletter and one of our members has written an article about his discovery of the US GenWeb. May I use a small version of your logo with the article? This is just to attract people's attention and become familiar with it.

Thank you for your consideration.

Pam
