The motion as written appears to be flawed:
"I move to accept or reject the proposed . . ." does not reflect a decision to either accept or reject - it would appear to mandate a decision to be made in the future.
May I suggest the motion be repaired or replaced to say one or the other - either "I move to accept" or "I move to reject" - then we can vote on it.
So much controversy has surrounded this MOTION that the subject of the motion, i.e., the slate, needs to be increased in importance. Please, AB members, can we address this issue and disposition it?
