I believe the programmer is using a feature called a Style Sheet (one for RW
and one for AN). And how the style sheets behave, I believe, are dependent on
the browser in use. I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination. I'm
told for instance, that the style sheet feature in Netscape behaves
differently in version 4.7x than it does in version 6.0x. And the same
probably holds true with the Internet Explorer (IE) family of browswers --
with variances between versions and variances between Netscape and IE. And
yet again, differently in some other browser.
I just viewed the two versions of the MBs and I see no difference in font
size. I changed the font settings in my browser (the option which allows
three choices: Use my default fonts; use document specified fonts - disable
Dynamic Fonts; and document specified fonts enabled Dynamic Fonts). I see no
difference in size of the fonts any where on the page. (I haven't reviewed
all messages in this thread, so haven't really seen a detailed list of
symptoms nor have I seen mention of specific browsers in use nor have I seen
mention of whether the symptoms were seen by someone signed in as a typical
end user or someone signed in as an Admin; nor any set of variations). It
seems right now to work for me, but maybe I didn't hit the right variation.
Using Netscape 4.73, 1024x768 display, Win98, signed in as admin, but viewing
a board (message list and specific messages) I don't administer. And who
knows what other variables come into play.
