I've had enough - time to help out my users. Here's a message I posted on
all my boards and also put in my Tips and Tricks section of my L&A page.
I'm not sure yet that I have all the right URLs in the list, but it's a
start.

I apologize for the extremely annoying pop-up, pop-under, pop-over windows
that appear when you use these message boards. I cannot control their
appearance at all. All I can do is offer you ways to take back control of
your PC. Go to any search engine and look for "popup killer" and you'll get
a list of programs that you can download for free. They run along with your
browser and cancel those pop-up windows as they appear.

The one I use on my PC (this is meant to be an example, not a
recommendation) is WebWasher which you can get at:

The URLs which I am presently filtering out are:
http://ad.doubleclick.net
http://adcontroller.unicast.com
http://unicast.com
http://altfarm.mediaplex.com
